Open-air activities

The Ardèche is the perfect area for outdoor activities. As soon as you leave la Roubine a whole rank of possibilities are offered.

Canoeing and kayaking

Of course the main activity of the Ardèche remains the canoeing and kayaking. This sport is mainly practiced on the river the Ardèche. If you want to make a canoe or kayak trip you must be 7 years old and be able to swim at least 25 meters.

Different distances are proposed: 6 km, 24 km and 30 km (the last distance in 2 days). We work with the company Alpha Bateaux who will pick you up at the campsite and bring you back again; you only need to register a day before.

Fishing

If you like fishing, the Ardèche is a true paradise. No need to leave la Roubine, there are all kinds of fish in the river: trout, carps, eels… At the reception desk you can buy your holiday fishing permit, this allows you to also fish in other rivers and streams of the Ardèche.

In the high season we propose a free fishing activity on the campsite’s river for children under 12. They only need to buy a fishing permit for a few Euros which they can use all year round throughout France.

Acrobatic trip through the trees

Another outdoor activity to be practiced by the whole family, except for those who suffer from vertigo: an acrobatic trip through the trees. At VerTige Park you pass from tree to tree, without ever touching the ground, sliding, hanging and climbing… After a couple of hours you may finish the black circuit...

Conditions you must fulfill to participate : mesure over 1.20 m. In July and August we organize an outing to VertTige Park once a week and we have special rates for our clients. There is a special track for little children from 3 years old, the Ouistiti.

Many other activities are worth to be practiced in the Ardèche :

Mountain biking, quad, speleology, canyoning, ULM, karting... We can give you all the necessary information at the reception!
